Viva GT: fuse box take 3
Yes I am on the third and final version of the fuse box mounts, in the glove box. I may still use the bread board idea to insulate the fuse box, being overly cautious. With the help of many friends I am happy the design is a good start and with a few holes, some tweaks and some spring clips it should all work nice.
First up is the work Nick helped me with, fresh eyes on the glove box help a lot. Some paper a lot of measuring and a paper templet appeared. To which I re-drew this nice and neat the other night whilst watching rubbish on youtube.
After work I popped over to Retropower, who as ever are massively accommodating to me. Within an hour they had drawn it up in CAD, plasma cut out and folder up for me. Huge thanks as always for being open, helpful, skilful and most of all play good tunes.
Some giggery pokery then followed where angle were adjusted (thank god it wasn’t thicker alloy) and it popped into the glove box and lined up as I wanted it to. Sorry about the poor image.
Thats it so far, holes and fixing for another day.
