Viva GT fuel lines (under car)
Its way to cold in the wind today to lay on a cold garage floor any longer, but today I have managed to sort out the way the fuel and brake lines will sit under the car. Its going to be very annoying as until I have clipped it all up and routed it neatly I will not know the actual cut lengths of the fuel lines at the rear. 3 clips are in place, 3 more are still to screw into place. Then I need to add one new rivnut into the chassis rail on the rear near the pumps should see it all secured up.
Once thats all done and the lines marked, I will have to strip it all down again to remove the fuel lines before cutting then fixing the correct ends onto the lines. I know this will annoy me, a lot of doing up and undoing everything at least twice, But its the best way to get things the right length. oh for the want of a car ramp and not axle stands and a cold floor.
PS before anyone points it out, yet flat washers not lock washers, will do that on final fit.
