Viva GT Brake lines
Part two of the picture heavy updates for the non face bookers amongst you. The brake have been sat awaiting some brake lines for a while, and last week a full set of aeroquip hoses, some master cylinder pots and a nice neat way of hiding the post away, that keep the under bonnet clean and tidy still.
First off we have the hoses for the front wheel off and up not the body, where they enter the passage compartment (remember on this car the cylinders are above the pedals in the passenger compartment). Images again © Retropower.
The rear brake line comes along the chassis rail next to the fuel line and pops into the passenger compartment low down on the front panel.
These then plumb up to the master cylinders, to top up the master cylinders we need remote reservoir , and these always look fussy to me. The solution was to reuse the glovebox and design a fold out tray for all three remote reservoirs.
