The tappets are much better now I redid them using the rule of Nine and not the make it up as you go along method I employed previously.
With that back to a manageable tap (see not 100% right) I am left scratching my head over the carburettor and its weird stay revving syndrome. Answers on a postcard folks? me thinks looking at the video that my home made bracket for the cable might be pushing against the spindle shaft a wee amount? Will have a look at that tomorrow, might also be the cause of the fuel seepage from this area as well.
