GT rear rim fitment

Busy morning moving all the parts from storage to the workshop. After which the first job was to try the new wheel rims on the car. Alas the rear calliper carrier is just a touch too close, so some fettling and a 3mm wheel spacer and the backs will fit....

GT Electric steering and bias pedal box

As I am getting old, and because I wanted it, the steering on the GT is now power assisted. Not with the normal hydraulic setup, but using an electrical assisted motor on the steering coloumn. Its made from a Vauxhall Corsa B EPS unit and a Opal Manta steering column...

The engine is out of the engine room, on the trolley and tomorrow (cross fingers) will be lifted into the car at last, its been a right hard job for me to watch others work hard…. The rear disk brakes are now also in place, callipers all done, just got...

Every little helps

Not a Tesco value post to my blog, but more a statement of fact, its taking forever to get anything done on the GT due to fiddly little things that always distract me or stop something else from happening. But having said that I have managed to get a few...
