Stripping for Fun
This morning I popped over to Brum to have a look at a HA “resto project” Its beyond it in my opinion, as as the place seems infested with 4 legged thingies I didn’t stay to long to have a good poke. Its a shame as the car had some nice history with it, including 1960’s tax discs.
This afternoon I decided its time to start stripping down the GT ready for this weekend’s weldathon (and not play anymore with the HA’s), its not good news but nothing more than I expected to find as I removed the headlights and grille.
Rear Shock absorber mounts in boot area
I have started to remove the carpet and seats from the passenger area, nothing found so far that is anything other than good, The last owner seems to of fitted his own security switch, I would never of found this unless I was removing the seat:
Now all I need do is remove the rear seats and roll the carpet back some, having looked under the carpet where I removed the drivers seat, I can say the rear area from what I can see is mint.
