Snow was not forecast, I blame the government and the BBC, which means its going to be a cold day outside. So far I have managed to mount the gearbox, refit the cross member and do up all the bell housing bolts, all that’s left is the prop shaft, and clutch cable adjustment. Its just after 11 am so I am taking a break for a while to defrost. laying on snow under a car is not my idea of fun, but needs must.

Well its all back together now, prop in the lot, started the car and I can just hear the faint rumble of the release bearing and the bite point is too low, not a problem just need to slacken off the clutch cable a wee bit and the car should be ready for the road, alas its to damn cold to lay down and get under the car again, so that’s it for today.
My neck is sore and so is my shoulder, I think I have pulled something, I am also chilled to the bone. But I am happy all the hard work is done the clutch is in the wheels are on the MOT is done and the car is taxed. Not bad for a weeks work. Off now to relax and watch (read snooze in front of) a Sunday movie on the sofa.
