Skirting the edge plans
Well the route is planned, its taken a good two weeks of online and offline maps, and various other websites to draft up the route. Its all been plumbed into my Sat Nav and is awaiting me pressing the button to start its role of telling me off, as Sat Nav’s do.
The official start is the loverly M48 services on the English side of the old severn crossing. Even though I said I was going to avoid all motorways in my earlier post. It doesn’t really count as I will only use the M48 for the final few miles back into England across the bridge. The overnight stop is Just north of the Lizard.
Over the following few days I intend to share the route plans, it will be ver interesting to see how good these turn out to be in reality. there are lots of minor roads and villages that might turn into traffic jams, too narrow and endless reversing to let folks by, and or delights of the Uk Countryside with amazing views.
I have booked the first weeks worth of accommodation, only another 4 weeks worth more to book. I have the car, a quick service before I go, some spare belts, bulbs etc will be packed.
