Skirting the edge Leg 3
Today was very different to the last few days, less narrow roads and steep hills, and more long open beeches as far as the eye can see. I started in Swanage with a late start 9am. From there it was a short drive to the Poole Harbour ferry. From here it was multi million pound houses in Sandbank. Personally its not my cup of tea, but one can see the total one upmanship happening as each build seems to be bigger than the houses around it.
Various long pebble beeches that summed up todays drive
The last few miles one climbed up high onto Beachy head, and look down on Eastbourne, which is now described (and rightly) Gods waiting room.
