Skirting the edge leg 18
This leg (a day late sorry) was Llandudno to Fishguard, which I thought was going to a be a long day in the seat, was long but not as tiring as I imagined. The sun was out and I suspect that had lots to do with it. First things first I am impressed with Llandudno (not the hotel per say it was okay nothing special) it has a great geographical location with the Great Orm, but its also a fair sized town, with lots of parking (which amazes me).
The route took me along the North coast right out to the far end of the Lleyn Peninsula, then south along the west coast of Snowdonia, and finally into Pembrokeshire.
I have to say the beeches on the West side of the Snowdonia nation park and the hills / mountains are a place I have not visited before, and I have to say I am impressed.
I arrived in Fishguard sooner than I expected and had a great afternoon sat outside the hotel watching the waves roll up and down the shore, a perfect end to a day, where I am back in Pembrokeshire for the first time in several years.
