More GT shell work
Before I dive into the main part of this post here are the pictures of Marvin back on his Webber as promised yesterday, its not a cleaver and or good looking mount, but its functional and does the job for now, and that’s all that matters. Say it as one sees it, the cold air flow has gone for now, but if I do stick with this carb I will sort the flow back out, for now its at least got a filter.
Right to the main topic, completely out of the blue as always an email popped into my account, basically saying come pay us loads of cash we have done loads more to the GT. So at lunch time I popped over and had a good look at the shell, what a great job they are making, I just love the new rear turrets they are exactly what I wanted. The tin work we hope will be finished in the next day or so, form there its going for another blast to get the surface rust off and an zinc primer coat to seal it.
Here for example is the new spare wheel well that’s been rolled, looks like a piece of art to me!
Rear seat belt mounts gone back in, and welded along the seams to stop it being a water trap again.
