Matiz and Fungus
Today I finished off Mazzo’s engine, alas I am missing just one head bolt, a short 7/16th head bolt… I am sure I will find one? From somewhere, it appears I have 3/8th bolts comming out of my ears, but not 7/16th’s!
It is all ready to drop off at Mazzo’s (bar the single bolt) which I think I shall have to arrange ASAP and see if I can get some of the swap jobs organised at the same time. (plans were electric windows, alarm and maybe the odd other electrical job on the HA).
Fungus’s engine is all on track, the bottom end is finshed now, all ready to bolt the sump back on, apart from the fact that I am out of cork sealant gunk, once I get some its sump on, flip it over an start the head.
Slightly off Viva’s Yesterday I bought another car, its not a Viva, its a Matiz, it was advertised at work for sale and at a good price, the only thing wrong with it is the front pipe on the exhaust and the electric window on the drivers side isn’t working, otherwise its MOT’d TAX’d running fine and has only a few scratches. I plan to sort the two jobs out and then move the car onto someone who needs it.
Its not leaking oil from under the bonnet, that oil trail is from Marvin, who is presently up at the paintshop having a new coat of paint on the roof and bonnet.
