GT Rear Seats
Another evening on the tools, after a quick coffee and biscuit (or two) it was back into the workshop and continue the rebuild.
All the extra soundproofing has been fitted under the rear seats, and a final fitment of the rear upright and rear parcel shelf was made, some adjustment to the hooks that hold the rear upright were required. (upon stripping the car down in 2011 it was discovered the rear parcel shelf was still bent from a crash back in the mists of time).
The rear seat section is just placed in to check the fitment, and everything sits as it should now. I will need to copex up the battery cable just to be safe, and one needs to screw down the rear parcel shelf, but on the whole its looking very good.
The aim is to get the rear of the car finished fully before the 15th as the workshop owner has an excuse to leave me to it (off to drive in the East Africa Safari Rally).
Whilst he is away I will aim to get the front seat frames sorted and maybe the front springs.
