GT Outside
For the first time in maybe 6 or 7 years the GT spent the day outside in the sun. It wasa bright day so it seemed daft to hide inside.
Again its jacked up at the front due to the GT front springs designed to take a much heavier engine, I have the replacements just not fitted them yet.
Today the heater matrix was fitted as a replacement was sourced and even though this was again larger, some adjustment to the hole rectified this.
The main aim of today was to bleed the brakes, but first we worked on the clutch cylinder, finding out that those aftermarket off eBay so called bargains of slave cylinders don’t always work out. It may fit, but getting access due to the position of the bleed nipple is near impossible and the brake line if swapped around was blocked equally by more castings in the bell-housing. So back to the drawing-board on bleeding the clutch. Equally the carry tray for the brake fluid pots is leaking so that will all need to be looked at. Here is the poorly bought (by me) clutch slave cylinder.
