Good information on the south coast
They say finding good information is always worth its weight in Gold. This has rung true today, often when people have been places you are going they let go that snippet of information that is useful. Today in the post arrived a map book with copious hand written notes from a Friend in Somerset who had previously driven the south coast, (as well as other fine long distance drives).
I am still reviewing that information, but at first glance a few places I didn’t know existed need to be investigated, a couple of the potential ferries Dan would or did use no longer run, and the information about which roads are just crowded with lorries (Hinckley Point power station), mean in some cases the route is already going to change. (Back to the sat nav!)
