A local GT owner to me has what could be a gold mine of information and parts that relate to the original Lotus 900 series engine development. Andy (the present owner or RAH) has lent me the all important exhaust manifold, so that when we get back to “lowering the engine” we can see what sort of space we have for the manifold.
The manifold itself was made by Lotus, its stainless but its been 20 plus year maybe 30 years since it was last on a car and we don’t know if Lotus took a hammer to anything bodywise to make it fit. Either way its a good starting point.
At a later date I will do an update on RAH so folks can see the car in its present state, and with Andy’s help try and show folks some of the trick parts. “RAH” is due for an MOT this year, lots needs doing but will be good to see the car back from 20 or so years storage.
