Its been a while, so I thought It best to add another one of those superb “Vauxhall Mirror” posts, form the 1965. This time about shiny new HA’s being sent to Canada. Note the grille on the front of the SL in the foreground, It has the name on the grille not on the bonnet as per UK market cars. I suppose this was done to save on bonnet designs, one bonnet design is easier to stock as spares than two?
I guess I had actually better get my act together and sort out RAY in the workshop a little more. I need to more the new horn form its present location (under the wing) to somewhere less open to the elements, its right in the path of mud and water from the front wheel.
The list of things to do, isn’t great its just making an appropriate start to them. Luckily I have some time! No thanks to the DVLA, they will only issue me a V5C once I have the car inspected to prove it is what it says on the old V5 form? Fun for me I guess.
