First day of the holidays, and it was spent burning away bushes from the subframe, wishbones and rear trailing arms on the GT, everything is now all sorted and ready to either go to the platers (small brackets nuts and bolts) or blasting and painting. I have also sorted out all the bushes to replace the ones I have removed. A Jensen Healy dealer in town sells replacements off the shelf and they are half the price of all these “polybush” companies.
Here is the time and tested method used to remove the old bushes, all part of the fun watching then pop out and spit flames everywhere.
Tomorrow I shall be doing a half day as I need to rest my poor legs a bit, not used to working….
