Popped over to York this morning to drop off a 4HA axle with Ian Jemison who have a jig especially designed for modifying a 4HA axle to fit the four link system on the Viva. which means no cutting the bodywork of the shell (top goal). Lots of nice toys in his workshop HS chevette for a LWB conversion etc.
On route I stopped off in Chesterfield to pay for a last minute buy on eBay A performance camshaft, the missing part of the Blydenstein engine I am soon to start working on.
Also whilst in York I bought some NOS engine parts that will come in handy soon, and made arrangements to return in a few weeks with some parts for the York owner and collect the axle.
And a dirty looking but good 1256 block
