Post Xmas plans
Today I went and checked on the Marvin, and good news the ice hadn’t materialised in the engine and or radiator like I feared, and he started with a quick jump off the escort, I ran him up for about 5 minutes to get some heat into the engine and at the same time had a quick check of the garage for leaks and ice, all is well.
I came back to the shed and have started to dig out the Webber carburettor to put back on Marvin, as the ignition issues are all understood now (says he) and I will try again and see how it runs with the twin choke. I also need to dig out all the roll bar parts and disc brakes assemblies as Marvin has an appointment with Retropower next week and I want to get some jobs sorted by them.
Hopefully in a week or so time I will find out if I get the second garage and I shall drag the GT down here so it much closer to home and kick start me into its resto.
