Cut up and sore
This morning I popped over to a friends to assist in the surgery of one old car, to pull from it what was usable in the restoration of Soapy ( a nice white HA).
12 cutting discs and a lot of dust later, I had the floors out (as they were perfect), and the rest of the car half cut up.
I shall have to return another day and finish off the job. But as me and my angle grinder were over worked, and Mr Cold chisel kept ducking out of the way which enable Mr Hammer to hammer my hand once to many times for my liking I thought it best to call it a day.
The car is now missing doors, floors and a roof, the chassis rails have been cut as well, but the car still insist on staying in one piece. The next trip will see the car in two half’s, the rear end trimmed up as trailer and put aside for a later day, and the front to be worked on till the inner and outer wings are separated and cleaned up.
The rest of the car is to be made into baked bean tins….
